Quick Life Update

I'm happy to announce that my son Jack was born healthy and handsome on Jan. 26, 2012 at 7:43 p.m.!

He's actually named after my husband, but we call him Jack.

 Now that the hectic first month is past, I should be back to writing and reviewing semi-regularly. Reading and watching TV are some of the few things I can do with a baby in my arms! I'll stop there before this turns into a mommy blog.

I will admit to doing quite a bit of comfort rereading in this stressful time...since Jack was born I've reread 7 of the Vorkosigan novels and I still have a few more to go in the series.

However, I went to the library yesterday and picked up a few YA books to read and review. I intended to check out a copy of the Hunger Games before the movie comes out, but there were 367 holds on the 77 copies available at all the San Antonio Public Libraries. Guess I'm a little too late to that party.
